People who claim there's nothing worthwhile in progressive rock have never listened to this record. Jon Anderson's extraterrestrial howl is one of the premier sounds of the past 50 years, and you'd have to be without ears to not submit to the musical prowess of these fantastic players. The sequencing of the tracks is the icing on the cake; from the first psychedelic swell of "Runaround" through to the cosmic assault of the truly EPIC "Heart of the Sunrise" – this is 40 minutes of music that is as groundbreaking as anything that any other band of the "experimental" variety was putting out... and then some.
